20 Ways to Race Into Spring This Week (4/30 - 5/6)

BY SIOBHAN DEREMER

The promise of spring brings warmer weather, greener scenery, and two major events this week: the Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo! See what the Valley has to offer in the way of events to unlock your creativity, give you the excuse for donning a fabulous hat, and taste test some mint juleps in the meantime.

Monday

Bucks County Restaurant Week
Not far from our area is the green farm-filled Bucks County. They’re celebrating their first countywide restaurant week until May 5. If you find yourself (like I do on occasion) ready for a change from the regular Lehigh Valley restaurant scene, check out the list of Bucks County places and enjoy a fixed price meal. Branch out and get home with a Lyft discount—or stay at one of the gorgeous B&Bs the county has to offer.

Baby & Me Yoga (10:30am - 11:30am / $15)
If you’re itching to get out of the house after having a baby or getting back to a practice with your little one, this class offers ways to connect with your baby (ages 6 weeks to 2 years) through different poses. Register here and join others at the St. Luke’s Baby & Me Support Center in Bethlehem.

Tuesday

Throughout this whole week and leading up to the big celebration on Saturday, Torre is offering Cinco specials on food and drinks to get you in the mood. Today it’s Taquito Tuesday with $2.50 single taquito and $6 Torre margs (some of our fave in the Valley for sure). Share your Cinco pics on IG and you could win a gift card. Happy Week of Cinco!
