Paint Your Own Broth Bowl at CoreLife Eatery in Allentown (6:30-8pm/ Cost: $35)
We chat about bone broth all the time here at Live Well, so we’re super pumped that Paint of Mind gives you the chance to not only try CoreLife’s housemade broth, but paint your own broth bowl too! Wild Fox Farm Pop Up at 187 Rue Principale in Emmaus (5:30-7:30pm)

If you’re a food nerd like us, chances are you love Alton Brown. So grab your tickets for Eat Your Science, featuring songs, ridiculous puppets, and wild culinary demonstrations. It’s kid-friendly, but definitely not just for kids. Get tickets here.

The Suppers Program at Trout Creek Healing Collective in Allentown (6:30-8:30pm/ Cost varies)
The Trout Creek Healing Collective is a collective of holistic practitioners, organic farmers, neighbors and friends that come together to put their shared values into practice. And every so often, they host Suppers, a cook-it-yourself community dinner for anyone who wants more vibrant health. Recipes include nearly all whole food ingredients (no milled grains or refined sugars up in here!), and only costs what the ingredients cost, which is usually around $8 to $12. Register here.
Importance of Sustainable Farming Talk at Nature’s Way in Easton (6-7pm/ Free)
Want to learn more about sustainable agriculture and the farming techniques that are used to protect the environment, public health, human communities, and animal welfare? Head to Nature’s Way for a talk with Rich DiFebo from Harvest Home Meats, which produces 100% grass-fed beef. More info here.
Winter Light Spectacular at the Lehigh Valley Zoo (5:30pm-10pm / Cost varies)
The Zoo’s light presentation of just about 1 million (energy conserving) lights kicks off this Friday and goes through December 21st. The fourth year promises a ton of fun and wonder (and animal visits) for kids and adults so you can get your 10k steps in through the nighttime labyrinth. More info and ticket information here.
Balancing the Mind with Ayurveda at Easton Yoga (11-12:30pm/ $30)
Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine that originated in India, but there are so many interesting ways you can apply its principles to modern life. In this interactive lecture, you’ll find out your dosha (kind of like your Ayurvedic personality type), learn what foods and activities nourish your specific dosha, and practice a type of relaxing breathwork called pranayama.
